Candle Care 101 - VERY IMPORTANT

 

 

Exceptional Candle care is important.

You want to receive OPTIMAL results with your hand poured Iron Mermaid candle. Please understand these products are  HAND-POURED. There may be slight imperfections in the finalized product which is totally normal! 

Candles and wax melts perform better when they have had time to sit with out lighting. Candles and wax melts are most fragrant when they have been sitting least 7- 14 days.

Never leave your candles unattended

Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at one time

DO NOT ALLOW candles to burn with less than 1/4 inch of wax left in the jar. GLASS explodes when it gets too hot

Once the glass turns BLACK ( normal when burning candles); wipe the jar clean with a paper towel or dry rag BEFORE relighting the candle

ALWAYS trim your wick 1/4 of an inch before lighting

DO NOT  fall asleep on a burning candle

Candle jars are HOT handle with caution
